Design & Implement Registered Apprenticeships
We partner with district employers and universities to design and implement registered teacher apprenticeship programs that address stubborn gaps in the talent pipeline
Program Design: There are multiple occupations (pathways) available for districts to implement. We focus on bolstering existing efforts and providing opportunities for new pathways into the teaching profession
Workforce Partnerships: We work with local, state, and federal workforce partners to maximize tools and resources to support aspiring teachers
Financial Assistance: We provide financial support to reduce and in some cases eliminate the financial barriers to becoming a teacher

NJ Department of Labor Awards More Than $6.3 Million in Grants to Support Apprenticeship and Pre-Apprenticeship Programs
TRENTON – The New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (NJDOL) has awarded more than $6.3 million in grant funding through Round 2 of the Growing Apprenticeship in Nontraditional Sectors (GAINS) and Pre-Apprenticeship in Career Education (PACE) grant programs to foster the creation and expansion of apprenticeships throughout the state.
